Thanks for this insightful article. I found it as I was looking for articles similar to one I recently published (“How to develop your web dev brand”). Yours is one of the few i’ve found on this subject.

As a new developer, you gave me a lot to think about labels like, “Junior”, “Aspiring” and “Entry-level”. I‘ve used them all to describe myself. I thought of them as a realistic and honest portrayal of my current skills and abilities. But I never considered that I might be selling myself short in doing so.
